Being Forward

Forwardness is not something our culture looks too fondly on. From guys it is seen as a honorable trait and often necessary. But from a women it seems needy. A girl who can tell a guy what she wants, is seen as selfish and a ball-breaker. She cannot glide. She must prove her metal every time a choice must be made. She must be able to run faster, argue harder, and spit farther. Ladylike is not a word she wears well. All because she says exactly what she thinks.
